Who we are
MedTech M&A is all we do. Our partners all come from strong MedTech M&A and banking backgrounds and have been working together as part of a team for over 10 years. Our Board of Advisors also has extensive experience working in the MedTech Industry including orthopedic medical devices, instrument cases and trays, pathology devices for histology labs, and stainless steel suppliers.

Laurence Barr
PARTNER
Laurence Barr has been instrumental in building key strategic relationships between businesses in MedTech that have provided owners and investors opportunities for growth and liquidity. Based on his prior experience, he understands the need to take a relationship based approach to achieve desirable outcomes for his clients. This has included M&A activities in various markets including respiratory, orthopedic, interventional, medical equipment and other devices across diverse geographies including Asia, Europe and Israel. Prior to this, he served as CFO in middle market firms and in lower middle market leading at MB Financial Bank, Fifth Third and The Bank of Montreal.
Mr. Barr holds a BA from Indiana University.

Göran Brorsson
PARTNER
Göran Brorsson has more than 30 years of experience as a chief executive and senior manager for Swedish and multinational companies with operations and customers in Scandinavia, Europe, North America and Asia. Mr. Brorsson has held key leadership roles in public companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of medical device products including Chairman and CEO. He has cross-cultural knowledge and background in management, global business development strategies and corporate transactions. Since 2015 Mr. Brorsson is active as an independent advisor to companies within the medical device and life science sectors and serves on a number of international Boards.
Mr. Brorsson holds an MBA from Gothenburg University and has participated in the International Management Programme at the International Management Institute, Geneva.

Charles Weikel
PARTNER
Charles Weikel has been a leader in building MedTech businesses through acquisition and divestiture in challenging and high growth environments. He has led cross border M&A activities that helped create the world’s largest orthopedic contract manufacturer and enabled a leading European contract manufacturer to establish their North American presence through acquisition. Mr. Weikel has built M&A practices from the ground up in MedTech and in challenged situations. He has owned a lower middle market manufacturer and grew it through acquisition. Earlier in his career, he worked at GE Capital and Bank of America in middle market lending.
Mr. Weikel holds a BS in Physics from the US Naval Academy and an MBA with Honors from the Booth School at the University of Chicago.

Janice Altman
VP - Operations
Janice Altman is a business manager with extensive experience in sales and client relations. She has been involved with building client relationships and business development for a number of firms in the telecom industry. She is effective managing teams and focusing their efforts for optimal client results. Ms. Altman holds a BA from the University of Illinois.
Ethan Christopher
Accounting Assistant
Ethan Christopher has served in accounting roles at various businesses in Illinois and Indiana. He has a BS from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

Mike Hadley
Mill Sales Manager, Valbruna Stainless, Inc.
Mike Hadley is a supply chain expert at one of the world’s leading medical stainless steel suppliers. His experience includes managing Banner Medical’s growth and expansion into medical markets including the operation of a new facility to service the industry in Warsaw, Indiana. He understands MedTech amd Aerospace from the ground up and is relationship focused. Recently he has been involved with growth intitatives in new products and the customer service area. Mr. Hadley holds an MBA from the Keller School of Management and a BS from Southern Illinois University.
Gary Henley
Owner, LMR consulting, inc.
Gary Henley has been an important leader in the orthopedic medical device industry for over 30 years. Recently he served on the Board of Directors of Orchid Orthopedics during time of innovation and consolidation that culminated with their recapitalization in early 2019. As CEO of United Orthopedic Group, he oversaw its merger with Breg and served as CEO at Wright Medical during a period of intense growth. He was also President of the Americas Division of Orthofix and was President of the Endoscopy Video Division of Smith & Nephew. He has consulted with leading companies across the MedTech industry in his own consulting business. Mr. Henley has a degree in engineering and business from Oklahoma State University.
Tim Kelleher
Former President, Teleflex Medical OEM
Tim Kelleher has held a variety of leadership roles in the medical device industry for more than 30 years. Under his leadership as President, the Teleflex Medical OEM business unit created three world class EPIC Medtec® Centers, completed a number of key acquisitions, and expanded its manufacturing and development footprint in seven locations, leading to a significant increase in the growth and profitability of the business. Mr. Kelleher holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois. He is a certified public accountant.
Vic Nunes
Owner, On Point Business Advisors, LLC.
Vic Nunes has held some of the most responsible operations positions in the MedTech industry. As Global Supply Chain Integration Leader for DePuy Orthopedics, he led the $21 billion integration of Synthes. He developed and executed global and regional integration plans to consolidate hundreds of locations, sales offices, warehouses, and several manufacturing sites. He has also served as Worldwide Executive Director of Operations for DePuy and as a member of the boards of DePuy Mitek and DePuy Codman. Mr. Nunes has received advanced certifications from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Winfried Schaller
Former CEO, Linkotek Group
Winfried Schaller has a track record as an international and entrepreneurial CEO with more than 25 years in company transformation. He has wide leadership experience across different industries and countries with a strong ability to think, plan, and execute operationally and strategically. In his recent position, he was managing the Lincotek Group in a major transformation and globalization phase, where he developed the medical division into a globally recognized CDMO via several global M&A initiatives. He is a well-known industry expert in addressing the needs of globalized markets, and provides support to family-owned companies as much as PE houses around M&A strategy, due diligence, closing, integration and carve-out processes. Mr. Schaller holds an MBA from the EDHEC Business School, France and a degree as “Diplom Kaufmann” from the University of Paderborn, Germany.
Dean Tulumaris
MedTech Entrepeneur
Dean Tulumaris has had a multifaceted career in some of the most demanding MedTech positions. As President and CEO of MHI-Relucent / Magnum Plastics he was responsible for design, prototyping and manufacture of medical components, sub-assemblies and devices. He has also led Clarapath, a medical device startup that designed and developed a pathology device for histology labs. Before this he was President and CEO of ETE Medical and led its successful acquisition by Confluent. Mr. Tulumaris holds a BA and MBA from Lewis University.
