Laurence Barr

Founding Partner at Middle Branch Partners

Laurence Barr has been instrumental in building key strategic relationships between businesses in MedTech that have provided owners and investors opportunities for growth and liquidity. Based on his prior experience, he understands the need to take a relationship based approach to achieve desirable outcomes for his clients. This has included M&A activities in various markets including respiratory, orthopedic, interventional, medical equipment and other devices across diverse geographies including Asia, Europe and Israel. Prior to this, he served as CFO in middle market firms and in lower middle market leading at MB Financial Bank, Fifth Third and The Bank of Montreal. Mr. Barr holds a B.A. from Indiana University.

David M. Anderson

Managing Director at Capital One Healthcare

David Anderson is a seasoned corporate finance investment and banking professional with over 30 years of experience working with management teams and investors to provide M&A and other growth financing. He has broad healthcare industry financing experience, including over 10 years focusing on the medical device and products market with GE Capital and Capital One. His clients range from privately-held middle market healthcare businesses to large publicly-traded healthcare firms.

Marie Lotto

Senior Director, M&A Integration at Hologic

Marie Lotto is Senior Director, M&A Integration at Hologic, a women’s health company. Prior to her current role, she served as Senior Director, Strategy and Business Development for Hologic’s Surgical division. She led efforts around mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, and divisional strategy. She also established and led the Strategic Marketing group which was focused on establishing a growth strategy, identifying unmet clinical needs, and developing a new product pipeline. Prior to Hologic, she was at Smith & Nephew, Advanced Surgical Devices division and held positions in franchise leadership, marketing, and various technical roles. She graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management with a Masters of Business Administration in 2014 and from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2003 and 2002 with an M.S. and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering.
