Our team took a deep dive into Onyx Medical’s previous and forecasted financial documents in order to perform a valuation analysis to determine the ideal selling price for the MedTech contract manufacturer. Next, our team created a shortlist of prospective MedTech industry buyers.M&A Advisory
Upon contacting the shortlisted prospective buyers, our team identified interest from Swedish MedTech firm Elos Medtech. Elos Medtech creates high precision medtech products and components. Their existing product line included dental and orthopedic implants and instruments. The company was interested in the transaction because they wanted to establish a presence in the United States.Negotiating the Acquisition
Once it was determined that Elos Medtech’s acquisition of Onyx Medical would be mutually beneficial for both companies, our team began negotiating the details of the strategic M&A.
Results
Elos Medtech purchased 100% of the membership interests of the family-owned Onyx Medical company. The purchase was a cash deal plus earn-out.
